I was born in England and I've lived lots of places but currently I live in Toronto, Canada. I can't remember a time before I wrote stories. I have three wonderful younger siblings that I always told stories to, and now I have six wonderful nieces and nephews.

I've worked at tons of jobs, from security guard to secretary to Animal Health Technician. In my 30s, I went to University of Toronto and had a great  time earning a degree in Linguistics, specializing in Latin, Old English, and Irish Gaelic. Since graduating, I've worked as a technical writer (a job I love!), and I currently work full-time for IBM.
